Today we went to Round 1 of the AMA Extreme Dirt Track National Series at Ironclad motosports. Us, along with the guys at Forever United went in full support for our team mate Harris Boyd. Being as this was our first ever races of this sort we didn't know what to expect. Let me be the first to tell you our minds were absolutely blown at the magnitude of this sport. Overall was an electrifying length of races and hopefully Team EM will be following more events of this nature with rider Harris Boyd.

Unfortunately one of our own, Michael Barnum broke his collarbone this weekend and suffered a severe concussion. Barnum was training for qualifiers at South of the Border MX and says "Idk my bike just cut off completely on a 90 ft jump and i nosedived into the ground." His pit team still hasn't figured out why it stopped or what's wrong exactly. Barnum tells us he'll be out for 6-8 weeks and is very bummed he'll be missing the majority of qualifiers. Stay tuned for further updates on Barnum and we wish you the best bro.

Well today at Tuscarora MX we had some great motocross racing. The races
were great and the hospitality was even better. To start off we had
Chris Williamson taking the win in 450 A with Matt Snyder and the
infamous Mark Brader not to far behind. In 250 B we had Alex Burch
taking the win with Steven Zimmer ripping holeshot in both motos. In 450
B it was the 27 machine of Steven Zimmer pulling the holeshots and
taking 1st in both motos. Kyler Shuman was showing impressive speed
today in the supermini class but didn’t have it in him to take the win.
The win in supermini went to the 101 machine of Dillon Eason. Gauge
Mcelvain was flying in the 65 7-11 class besides going the wrong way off
the start and doing about half of the track backwards! But he went on
to win his motos. In schoolboy it was Alex Burch taking the moto wins
and slamming Lane Hussey on the second lap and made a impressive pass to
take the lead and go on to win the moto. Well this wraps up our day at
Tuscarora MX. T-Rock should have a sweet video up by tomorrow. Check it
out! Eastern Media, out. Till next time!

The races were at Sandridge this weekend for the SMX series sand race. There was some great racing today as well as some gnarly get offs. The A class would see Bubba Barnett winning 250 and 450 A. Cooper Webb won Supermini and Schoolboy, Justin Riggs won Unlimited B/C, and Daniel Salese won 250 C. Ryan Garcia was impressive as well finishing behind Daniel. Steven Zimmer would be the Holeshot king today with 3 out of 4 moto holeshots as it was his first time racing in a couple months. He struggled quite a bit but still won both his 250B and 450B classes. The sand was a challenge for most of the riders but they fought through. Go to PCW Webb's facebook to vote for the Easternmedia moment of the day. Another member Kimberly Hernandez rode Actiontown today finishing 10th overall out of 23 in 250C and pushing hard but fairing not so well in her unlimited Am class.

There was some great racing action this weekend at 5 Points MX Park of the SMX series. The track was really good, it was wet sand during practice and first moto and got a little try and hard pack for the second motos. The best race to watch was the A class. Chaz Wilson and Cooper Webb. The first moto would see Chaz winning with Cooper all over him. The second moto was flip flopped with Cooper winning and Chaz all over him in second, along with Brandon "Bubba" Barnett and Mark Brader in the Pro class. Kimberly Hernandez was very impressive as she ran with B/C and C class blowing everyones expectations out of the water with her performance. Justin Riggs would take the win in Unlimited B/C. Daniel Salese would take the win in the C class. The moment of the day was Justin Riggs looping out the first moto and coming back to second.
